Senator Alli visits Ibarapa traditional rulers, political leaders

 

In a display of gratitude and solidarity, Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has embarked on a visit to traditional rulers and political leaders in Ibarapa zone.

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Friday in Ibadan.

This visit, perfectly timed during the festive season, provided an opportunity for the senator to express his gratitude for the support he received from the royal fathers during the last election.

The senator’s visit was attended by notable traditional rulers in Ibarapaland, including the esteemed Olu of Igbo-ora, Oba Titiloye Jimoh; Onidere of Idere, Oba Aderoju Kingsley; Olu-Aso of Iberekodo, Oba Adedamola Badmus and Asigangan of Igangan, Oba Rafiu Ariwoola.

Others Asawo of Ayete, Oba Okeniyi Ewuola; Elenpe of Tapa, Oba Sunday Oyekanmi; Onilala of Lanlate, Oba Sunday Oladejo; Onisagan of Sagaun, Oba Fasasi Jinadu; Eleruwa of Eruwa representative, Oba Olayide Ojedapo and hosts of others.

Senator Alli’s dedication and tireless efforts serve as a shining example of effective representation and the invaluable role of traditional institutions in the progress of our society.

At the Olu of Igboora palace, Senator Alli reaffirmed his commitment to the traditional institution, citing his role as a fellow senior traditional chief and Maye Balogun of Ibadan land.

Alli said that he deeply understood and appreciated the value of the traditional institution and vowed to do everything within his power to support the elevation of these revered leaders.

He reiterated his appreciation for their unwavering support, assuring traditional rulers of Ibarapaland that they would always get their fair share of any benefits or offices that come his way.

The lawmaker shared promising news regarding the infrastructural development of Ibarapaland, adding he was working to ensure the completion of the power line running through Ibarapaland.

Alli expressed determination to collaborate with Federal Ministry of Works and the Hon. Minister of Works in reviving the abandoned Badagry/Sokoto expressway, pledging his continued commitment to the district’s development.

Earlier, Chief Akinyemi Akinlabi, a former Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government and Olukotun of Iberekodo, commended Senator Alli for his unwavering dedication to the welfare of Ibarapaland.

Akinlabi said that no previous senator has ever accorded Ibarapa such immense attention, expressing confidence in the senator’s continued commitment to the development of the district.

Other former local government chairmen, namely Hon. Sarafa Olaoniye, Hon. Gbenleke Olawoore, Hon. Iliasu Shittu, and Hon. Rafiu Adeleke, lauded the senator for his efforts.

Also present at the meeting are some APC party chairmen and leaders in Ibarapaland, including Chief S. O. Olawuwo, Pa Michael Gbenro, Hon Stephen Ojelere, Pa Samuel Ojewola, and Mr. Adisa Akintola.

Their presence exemplified the united front, leaving no doubt about the collective dedication to the progress and betterment of Ibarapaland.

 

Meanwhile, the senator’s entourage also visited two APC leaders in Ibarapa land, namely Pa Timothy Jolaoso (in Ibarapa East) and Alhaji Olayide Abas (in Ibarapa Central), who both lauded the senator’s achievements in the last six months.
