The Music Director of Gospel Faith Mission International Regional 2 Headquarters Church, Deacon Toyin Afolabi, has urged Christians to emulate Jesus Christ in demonstrating love before, during and after Christmas celebrations.
He said it is a unique time for friends and families to share bountiful gifts with love and affections.
The gospel singer advised Christians in every part of the world to make use of their love for Jesus Christ during the time. He further said it is unquantifiable for people to decorate their homes with Christmas trees, send out greeting cards, buy gifts, attend carol and church services for Christians during the period.
Afolabi who spoke with oyoecho33 said” Christmas is a period when faithful Christians all over the world celebrate the birth of of Christ, it a time Christians come together to share gifts and loves. The importance attached to Christmas gifts is immeasurable,” he added.
Speaking on the forthcoming Christmas programme of Gospel Faith Mission International Regional 2 Headquarters Church, tagged “CANTATE DOMINO” ( season 4 ), Afolabi said the programme commences today at the Gospel Faith Mission International Regional 2 Headquarters, Salvation Army Road An- Sarudeen Bus Stop Ibadan.
According to him, various Christmas songs during season is one of the activities that makes it more unique, urging people to support the annual celebration.
He affirm that, most expensive gift receives during Christmas are always priceless because Jesus already paid for it with His life. “it’s the only gift you’ll ever receive that will last forever. It is an extremely practical gift – one you’ll use every day for the rest of your life” Afolabi Added.
While sending his Christmas message to all Christians all over the world, he implore all christian to use the Christmas period as a time for celebration, time for salvation and time for reconciliation.
