Buhari Extends IGP Tenure For Three Months

President Muhammad Buhari has extended the tenure of the inspector General of Police IGP Mohammed Adamu by three months.

This was disclosed to newsmen on Thrusday by The Minister for police Affairs, Mohammad Dingyadi at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

According to the minister, the extension was necessary so as to give time for the proper selection of a successor to replace Adamu.

Recall Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu tenure expired on Monday, February 1.
