A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, Chief Wale Oladoja has urged the people of the state to ignore attacks on the governor of the state, Engr. Seyi Makinde over the alleged terminated flood project in the state by the world bank.
He said after speaking with the governor, he was convinced that the governor had done his best to ensure he secure continuation of the project for the state.
The Ibadan born chief who expressed his disappointment in the way opposition parties portrayed termination of the contract by the world bank in the state urged the people of the state to ignore opposition with their machinations to distabilise the state.
According to Oladoja, the people of the state knew Makinde won’t compromise his integrity because of any project in the state, saying he had made over N48billion before he became the governor of the state.
“We have to be careful about the way we play politics in Nigeria for betterment of our future. I spoke with the governor and he narrated untold stories a out the world bank project.
“Makinde has no company to take contract from the state government and he won’t do anything to compromise his integrity.  I want to urge the people of the state to continue supporting Makinde for their trust in him. Opposition is using all means to discredit the governor who had made his billions before he became a governor in the state.”
