Police Arrest Alabaru With Stolen Matches, Toilet Roll, Goya Oil

The Oyo state police command on has arraigned one Sikirat Sarafa and Alimot Akionla before a grade a customary court sitting Mapo area of Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
Ogundairo Deborah had in December 8 employed Sikirat Sarafa to help her take her load to a destination but she conspired and sold the goods to Alimot Akiola.
 
The prosecutor, Ayeni Ayodele told the court that the offense committed by Sikirat Sarafa is punishable under section 390 (9) of the criminal code cap 38 vol. 11 law of Oyo state, while Alimat Akinola committed offense punishable under section 427 of the criminal code cap 38 volume 11 law of Oyo state.
 
Relating the incident, Ayodele told the court that; “Sikirat Sarafa of Oritamerin area of Ibadan under the magisterial district stole two carton of of Goya oil valued at N8,300, two bundle of toilet roll valued at N17,200 and the items received by one  Alimot Akionla.
“You also challenged a police officer,  SUPO Goodluck and called him thief in order to draw attention of hoodlums against the officer, thereby raised a false alarm which he said it is punishable offense under section 84 of criminal code cap 3811 law of Oyo state.
The president of the court, Hon. Mrs Imoleayo Akinrindoye adjourned the case till 20th January, 2021 for further hearing.
