Makinde Played Me After Stepping Down For Him In 2019 – Dr. Adenike Victor-Tade

Dr. Adenike Victor-Tade, Oyo south senatorial district candidate on the platform of the Young Progressive party (YPP), has revealed that her political adventure, when elected, is to empower youths and the citizens through 21st century economic requirements by focusing on technological movement.
She stated this on a live programme tagged “The Podium” on 32fm 94.9, Ibadan and monitored by oyoecho on Saturday.
The YPP Senatorial candidate she was ready to render all she has for the services to people through politics in Nigeria, adding that can only be done by the smaller parties as the so called giant and constituent parties had no plan for the nation.
She said, “I stepped down for the incumbent Governor in the state for him to emerge as the candidate, through coalition in the last election. I was promised the position of a commissioner, in order to extend my hands of support to the people, but along the line they played me and made me a board member of the Nigerian water corporation for 14month.
“This is the major reason, I decided to leave the party. Now, I can still extend my compassionate works to the people. However, Engr. Seyi Makinde has tried in the last four years but I’m not a fan of PDP.
“I am of the opinion that the government should equally focus on women empowerment, since most women are neglected. We want a kind of government that will encourage women inclusiveness. I am also conscious of the internally displaced persons, the destitute on the street because serious empowerment programs should go beyond the scope of grinding machines, motorcycles and dryers. Such won’t translate to meaningful life, in the face of 21st century challenges.
She also noted, ”YPP, as a political party, preaches closeness to the people through the organization of town hall meetings, which I will always attend, in each local government. I’ll build industries according to their available resources that can accommodate at least 50 people, and when they are paid, they can also buy shares in the company.
“I won’t give out motorcycles, grinding machines and tricycle as it is just a slavery method of holding people down, my 9 wards will become just like China. I’ll make sure to be much different from every other woman that has spoilt the face of womanhood. Therefore, I am not scared of any opposition party”, she concluded.
