EFCC Arrests Seven Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Ibadan

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibadan Zonal Office, has arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters in Ibadan.

This was revealed in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Mr Wilson Uwujaren on Friday in Ibadan, NAN reports.

Mr Wilson said the suspects between 17 and 29 years were arrested on Friday morning at their hideout in Wisdom Estate located at Akobo area of Ibadan.

He further revealed that their arrest followed a series of intelligence on alleged criminal activities of the syndicates.

According to him, items recovered from the suspects include a Lexus RX350 SUV, laptops, different models of expensive iPhones and several documents.

Uwujaren halted that the suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
